The Segway Xyber is the ultimate high-performance electric bike built for riders who demand the absolute best in power, range, and intelligent technology. Power Performance

Blast Off

The Xyber launches from 0 to 20 mph in an extraordinary 2.7 seconds. Running on a single battery, the Xyber delivers 3,000W of rated power and 120 Nm of torque. Install the optional second battery and performance doubles — 6,000W of total rated power and 175 Nm of torque make the Xyber one of the most powerful electric bikes available. A max speed of 35 mph is available with the speed limiter adjusted via the Segway Mobility App (off-road use only).

Battery and Range

Ride All the Miles

Each IPX7 water-resistant battery packs a massive 1,440 Wh of energy at 48V nominal voltage. With a single battery, the Xyber covers up to 56 miles per charge. Install two batteries and range extends to a jaw-dropping 112 miles — enough to take on any adventure without range anxiety. The 10A fast charger replenishes a full battery in approximately 3.7 hours.

Safety is built into every charge cycle. Each battery is protected by a Smart Battery Management System with 6 layers of battery safety protection and UL certification, meeting or exceeding the highest safety standards for years of worry-free use.

Smart Display and Connectivity

The Best Kind of Know-It-All

The Xyber’s water-resistant, high-resolution Smart Display automatically adjusts brightness for maximum visibility in any lighting condition. From the cockpit, riders can view full e-bike metrics, track ride data, navigate routes, control music playback, and connect to their smartphone via Bluetooth — all without stopping. Full integration with the Segway Intelligence platform keeps the Xyber connected, secure, and always up to date:

Suspension

The Xyber is built to absorb punishment. A 110mm travel front suspension system and 100mm rear suspension work together to deliver a controlled, planted ride over rough terrain, rocks, roots, and uneven surfaces — keeping the Xyber composed at high speed and under heavy loads.

Braking

The Xyber’s hydraulic disc brake system is built to match its performance. A 4-piston front caliper with a 220mm rotor delivers massive stopping force, while a dual-piston rear caliper with a 180mm rotor provides balanced, progressive braking at the back. Together, they provide confident, powerful stopping performance in all conditions.

Tires

Gain Some Traction

Massive 20 x 5.0-inch rugged tires with flat-resistant inserts are purpose-built for a wide variety of surfaces. The wide-profile fat tires provide exceptional traction, stability, and puncture resistance, making the Xyber ready for spontaneous adventure wherever the road — or trail — takes you.

Lighting

The Xyber’s smart lighting system features a powerful 1,300-lumen front light with automatic high and low beam modes, plus a tail light with brake signal highlight for enhanced rear visibility and safety.

Water Resistance

Both batteries carry an IPX7 water-resistance rating, and the Xyber’s body carries an IPX5 rating — providing reliable protection against rain, splashing, and wet-condition riding.

• The Xyber is for off-road use only and is not a road-legal e-bike. It may not be suitable for all terrains. Stunt riding is not recommended. Always use your best judgment for safety.
• Peak performance specifications (6,000W / 175 Nm / 112-mile range) are based on two batteries installed. The second battery is available for purchase separately.
• Range of up to 112 miles (2 batteries) or 56 miles (1 battery) is tested under controlled conditions: 77°F, 75 kg load, 20 mph throttle mode on pavement. Actual range may vary with speed, temperature, stops, and load.
• The Segway Intelligent Ride System is free for the first year and available for purchase thereafter.
• The original front light may not meet lumen requirements for nighttime riding in all areas. Check local laws and use appropriate supplemental lighting as needed.
